2025 Capricorn 01 Zagato

Engineering firm Capricorn have teamed up with Italian design house Zagato to create its first ever supercar. Located in Germany, Capricorn are not very well known by most, focusing mainly on developing engine components for Bugatti and designing aerodynamic pieces for Audi and Porsche. They have even been providing parts for various Formula 1 and World Endurance Championship racing teams since the 1990s. The Capricorn 01, where the bodywork has been designed by Zagato, marks the first car Capricorn has released with the intention of demonstrating the scope of its engineering capabilities.

The design features sleek lines and an unmistakeable supercar look that one would expect from Zagato. The powertrain chosen is a 5.0L V8 provided by Ford which is then bored out to 5.2L and endowed with a supercharger. They have also fitted a new crankshaft, rods, and pistons as well as the intake, exhaust and dry sump lubrication system. All up it will produce 887 hp and 737 lb-ft, deliver a 0 to 62 mph time of under 3 seconds and go up to a top speed of 223 mph.
