Description
Ferrari have resurrected the historic Testarossa name, but where are the side strakes? Since those side strakes were one of the most identifiable design elements of the original Testarossa, it’s a shame Ferrari haven’t chosen to bring them back this time around. The number 849 in the name represents 8 for the number of cylinders, and 49 for the capacity of each of those cylinders (499 cc).
This Spider model uses a retractable hard top roof and comes with a powered glass wind blocker between the seats. With that comes some extra weight for the Spider, tipping the scales some 198 lbs heavier than the coupe version.
