2026 Ford Mustang Dark Horse SC

Ford has just revealed the successor to the Shelby GT500 and it’s called the Mustang Dark Horse SC. Packing a supercharged 5.2L V8 engine, this high-performance Mustang will slot between the standard Dark Horse and the GTD in the Mustang family line-up. At the time of writing, Ford are yet release any details on the power or torque figures expected from the engine, but a good guess would be well over the 700 hp mark but below the GTD’s 815 hp peak. We do know it will make use of a Tremec seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and a carbon-fiber driveshaft.
