2026 Polestar 5 Performance

Polestar’s new flagship hits the town with big power and gorgeous looks. After the Polestar Precept concept was revealed in 2020, it turned many heads with it’s good looks. Since then we have been patiently waiting for the production model to come, and now that day has arrived in the form of the Polestar 5.

The Performance model gets two electric motors which combine to generate 872 hp and 749 lb-ft of torque delivered to all four wheels. They are fed by a big 106 kWh battery capable of up to 350 kW DC fast charging and 300 miles of range. The 0 to 60 mph time clocks in at 3.1 seconds, which is decent but not as fast as one might expect from the power figures.
