2027 Slate Truck EV

New automaker, Slate, and unveiled their first creation. An affordable EV pickup that converts into an SUV with a kit. With the aim of being the cheapest electric truck on the market, Slate is looking at a US$20,000 starting price for the base model after rebates. This is a bold move from the Jeff Bezos-backed automaker, a move which if pulled off, could help drive cheaper EV’s into the market. The pickup itself is very simple in appearance, from the steel wheels and crank-wound windows, to the basic utilitarian styling that is actually fairly good looking.
