2026 Honda Civic Type R Ultimate Edition

The death of one of the best hot hatches of all time is near with Honda about to retire the Civic Type R. This, the Ultimate Edition Civic Type R will be the limited send-off model for both European and UK markets with the rest of the world likely to follow in the next year or so. Limited to just 40 units, the Ultimate Edition will comprise of visual additions only, with no mechanical or dynamic changes to be seen.

The visual changes start with bespoke red decals on the hood and down the sides of the car, with every model finished in Championship white and wearing a black roof and carbonfibre wing. The interior also gets a few special touches with a carbonfibre centre console and key ring, numbered gift box, car cover and custom floor mats.
